WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. – It’s been nearly 100 years since Babe Ruth kept his promise to an ailing young fan from New Jersey to hit a home run for him in Game 4 of the 1926 World Series.
That legendary tale was turned into the 2014 film, “I’ll Knock a Homer for You.”
It was shown to residents at Fellowship Community in Whitehall Township Friday.
Director Andrew Lilley, the great-nephew of the little boy who met “The Babe,” was on hand to present it.
